Day 11 I Know The Plans I have For You

`For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." -JEREMIAH 29:11, NIV

So how do we discover the plans our Father and Creator has just for us? We tap into God's best for us when we start dreaming and planning while staying sensitive to His voice. Getting quiet before the Lord, submitting yourself to Him, and seeking the Holy Spirit's help is a powerful experience. Ask the Holy Spirit to work through you and reveal the Father's plans for you.

Establishing short- and long-term goals will boost your success and lead you toward those dreams and accomplishments that the Lord plants in your heart. For every good work, He calls you to do, your Father will provide the tools to succeed. But you need to search your heart and discover what may be forgotten hopes and dreams ... and then develop goals to reach them.

Day 10 Unwavering Faith

James 5:16b: The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

Fervency speaks of our level of intensity, passion and persistence. Many times, we can lose our passion in prayer or stop praying for certain things altogether because we lose heart or give up. But God invites us to keep them before Him and trust Him for an answer in His time.(Matthew 7:7-11)

The Old Testament prophet, Elijah, practiced a lifestyle of fervent, intense prayer and he witnessed incredible miracles in his lifetime as a result. In 1 Kings 17:17-24, we read of a woman whose only son became ill and died. When Elijah heard the news he quickly took action and did what he knew best – he fervently cried out to God. Elijah fully believed that God could bring the boy back to life, and he didn’t pray just once. It is recorded that he prayed three times for the boy’s soul to return to him. He prayed fervently, repeatedly and he wasn’t going to give up. Verse 22 reads, “then the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came back to him, and he revived.”

God honored Elijah’s obedience and fervent prayers and brought the boy to life. God hears your prayers as well and will bring an answer in His perfect timing. But don’t be discouraged or disheartened if the answer is not exactly what you expected. Commit to praying to God with passion and persistence, trusting the answer will come in God’s perfect way and in His perfect timing.

As we close out this first week, continue to pray fervently for the main areas of concern in your life. Trust God to bring an answer as you journal your thoughts and inspirations through this time.

Day 9 Bless Me...

I would like to start today with a reminder of yesterday’s devotional, that the basis of our prayer should be based on implicit trust in God and know that With God Nothing will be impossible. Having said that I would love to reiterate that our main subject is I will not leave you until you have blessed. When it comes to the blessing we see a person that came to God and prayed. In 1Chronicles 4:10 the Bible talks about Jabez and the prayer that he made to The Lord.

Saying Lord "Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain." and we see that at the end of his prayer God answered him and granted him his request. I pray that we would use this prayer as a guide or inspiration for our own personal time of prayer and mediation. May God bless you, may He enlarge your territory and remove every barrier’s and obstacle, all the limitation the enemy has set before you. That no evil will every be able to arm you and that God will give you peace and remove anything that the enemy has set on your way.

Day 8 Nothing is impossible

With God nothing is impossible, When you read the story of Jesus’ birth, yet of the conversation the angle had with Marry. The Bible tells us that when marry hears from the angel that she was going to be pregnant, she asked him a reasonable question. How is that going to be possible, because I don’t know any man. Marry here was looking at the law of nature and saying that anything that defiles that is an impossibility and whatever God was asking of her seemed to be impossible because it had never happen and she could not see how that would be possible.

The angel responded in a very simple and powerful way: With God nothing shall or better yet is impossible. I would like for you to understand that to whenever we face an impossibility or whenever there is a impossibility is just simply say that God has not stepped in yet, God has not come into play yet and whatever circumstance that we’re in when it’s the will of God and that God is involved in the process will never be impossible. I want you to know that and to hold on to it with every fiber in your being that with God there is no impossibilities.

God speaks through the prophet Isaiah that He is about to do something new and that we should forget the former things. See, the former things disturbs and mess up our perception so it is imperative for us to learn to lean and trust in God and receive what it is that is new that God is bringing into our lives.

Day 7 Taking Every Thought Captive

2 CORINTHIANS IO:4-5

In the passage above, we are reminded that our weapons and the war we fight are not of the flesh or in the physical world. Instead, they are of the Spirit and in the spiritual realm. The Word of God points us to the Kingdom of God-a reality that surrounds us and that is in us! It's a totally new way of thinking, different from the way our carnal, fleshly minds think. So as we work to move our flesh and our minds toward Kingdom living, we must align every thought with the Word of God. Over and over again every day, we should ask ourselves,

What does God have to say about this? Every thought that is contrary to God's way must be "taken captive." Then we can toss that thought out and replace it with God's truth. His truth then becomes our activation point or our weapon. • When a fearful thought comes into our minds, we take that lie, turn to the Word, find the promise, and then declare the truth. • When the enemy tells us we're no good or defeated, we take that lie, turn to the Word, find the promise, and then declare the truth. • When all the circumstances around us scream defeat and failure, we take that lie, turn to the Word, find the promise, and then declare the truth.

Taking every thought captive is a discipline. We must guard our hearts and minds. We must be alert to every notion that enters our thinking and measure it against God's Word, which wins the contest every time! I once heard a pastor say, "Whenever you are confronted with a circumstance, you need to ask yourself three questions: What does God say about it? What does the enemy say about it? What are you going to say about it?" I ask myself those questions all the time. It's a simple way to take every thought captive and choose Christ's way every time!

I like the way this popular prose puts it: Watch your thoughts, for they become words. Watch your words, for they become actions. Watch your actions, for they become habits. Watch your habits, for they become character. Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny. Our thoughts are important. So important that Paul gave us clear guidelines: "Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever ever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of

good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy- meditateon these things" (Philippians 4:8). Your thoughts have power. Consider the things you are thinking ing about. Test them against the Word of God and then make the necessary changes. You will be amazed at the changes in your life as your thoughts become more like the thoughts of God.

Day 6 Loose him, and let him go

On this exceptional time away from every and any distraction to spend time seeking The Lord, we see and sense that there is a fire that has been rekindled, a fire that has been burning within with the Baptist of The Holy Sprit. As we continue, there’s one story in particular that has always caught my attention, and that story is the story of Lazarus’ resurrection.

Yesterday, we had to answer the pertinent question God asked the prophet Ezekiel as if He was directly talking to us. Son of Man can these dry bones live ? The answer to that was about prophesying and speaking life based on God’s word. We see here that Lazarus had been sick, and had a promise that the sickness was not to lead him to death. Some days later the Bible tells us that Lazarus ended up dying and was buried. Four days later after having being in the tomb, Jesus came and brought him back to life.

Now the thing that really caught my attention is that as Lazarus came out of the grave, the Bible tells us that his hands and feet were bound in graveyard clothes and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Being bound, although alive his mobility was restricted. He couldn’t use his hands or feet freely, nor could he see since his face was covered with a linen cloth. His resurrection was a God’s at work, his coming out of the grave was still God at work, but yet he needed to be loosed by probably the people that wrapped in in those clothes in the first place.

This simply tells me, there are times where the Spirit of the living God will bring us back to life and after that we will need to be loosed from the bound of graveyard clothes. As clothes could also represent a person’s character or emotional state, or even habits we see here that these graveyard clothes kept him captive and restricted movement or production, as well as vision. My prayer is that we will be set free of everything that comes to blind us, stop our feet of entering into possession of everything God has given us and our hands for taking a hold or stopping our entreprises from being accomplished. As Jesus asked the people to loose Lazarus and let him go, my prayer and desire is that you will be loosed of every bondage and you will be let go to be able to taste and see That The Lord his good, to work with your hands and finally with your feet, enter into possession of what God has given you and destin for you.

Day 5 Can These Bones Live ?

It is interesting to see that when God tool the prophet into the valley with full bones and all of them were really dry. After showing that to the prophet God asked him an intriguing question, “Son of man, can these bones live?” The valley at times will represent death and in this text we see that this place was filled with so many dry bones. We know that this represents an army of people that lost their lives in the battle and God referred that army to the whole house of Israel. In our walk on this journey of live, some of us have gotten to a point where they fill as if they have lost their lives, they have lost their hope and feel cut off from everything, from their dreams, desires, and plans.

Like the people of Israel God is asking us that same question today, Can these bones live? Our attitude and trust in God will determine if these bones will live or not. God asked the prophet to prophesy in other word he asked him to proclaim His word over the situation. We have to understand if we want to see things change in our lives we will need to proclaim not what we see but God’s Word over what we see. What is God saying about your situation ? When we look at the end of this story we see God telling His people that He is coming down to open the graves, cause them to come out of anything that kept them in a position of death. Romans tells us that: “But if the same Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.”

If The Spirit of God lives in you, you have the hope of resurrection, the hope a living again, the hope of restoration. Today I pray that you will look at everything that is dead in your life and start proclaiming the Living Word of God over each and everyone of them. You will prophecy over your life, the life that God gives and the restauration that come as a result.

Day 4 With The Holy Ghost and Fire

In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, saying, recent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. John goes on to say something so important as to baptism not only of water as he was doing but something even greater and more powerful. In verse 11 of Matthew 3 John stated that , I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

We see that after Jesus’ resurrection, after he was glorified he breathed on the disciples and said to them “Receive the Holy Spirit” this reminds me of God when He created man, The Bible says He breathed the breath of life into his nostrils; and man became a living being. Yet, Jesus before departing made a promise to the disciples that the were to wait in Jerusalem until they received power when the Holy Spirit would come upon them. The Holy Spirit is a spirit of power and fire.

Jesus wants us to be clothed with power from on high, it should be our desire to be filled with the Spirit of the Lord, the Spirit of wisdom and power. That fire that burns deep inside. My prayer is that each one of us would ask the father for the Holy Sprit, for the power that comes along and so that having the Sprit of God within us would be having him moving and working through us.

Day 3 Lay Aside Every Weight

In Hebrews 12:1 The bible says that: Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witness, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. there are spiritual and emotional hindrances to prayer that we need to address if we are to have true fellowship with God and receive answers to our prayers. We can pray all we want but as long as there hindrances are in the way this time that we have dedicated for prayer will be in vain and a waste.

And the devil knows that and doesn’t want us to deal with them. He knows that as long as we can hold on to them and not deal with them he can do whatever he wants in our lives and that of our loved ones. Some of them are fear, guilt, feelings of inferiority, doubt, unbelief, wrong motives, bitterness, unforgiveness, idols, family broken relationships to name the least. These ones are some of the ones that are so common and prevalent to us and if not dealt with they can play a major role to being an hindrance to receiving from God.

Day 2 Sanctify yourself...

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.When there is sin-especially willful sin-in your life, and you are not obeying the Word, God will not hear you. You will not receive His favor. Isaiah 59:1 tells us, "Your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear,"

Peter says… For you are a slave to whatever controls you. It is important to rid ourselves of any kind of sin that control us, the weight and the sin that so easily ensnares us. There are these sins that are so easy that we do not realize that they cause a separation with God. The Bible says Samson was not careful on how he handled Delilah and ended up telling her the secret of his strength and thought to himself that he will do as he’s always done, but unfortunately this time God had departed from him and his strength left him. Are there things in your life that you think you can do and get away with has you’ve done before ? I pray that God will give you the strength to rid yourself of every single one of them so that you can be able to see God. Joshua tells us “Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.” if we’re expecting God to do wonders and declare a blessing in our lives, we need to be sanctified and walk in sanctification and right standing with God.

As You continue to pray I would love for you to meditate on the story of Samson in Judges 16 as well as few other verses that can help you pray.

Day1 Separate Yourself

W prepare for prayer by separating ourselves from our normal environment, our normal activities. When you are seeking God, you can't be distracted by social media, TV, or the radio, or talking to people that do not contribute to your advancement as you seek Him. If you're going to seek God, you have to be serious about it. God says, "If you want to find Me, you will do so only if you seek Me with all your heart." (See Jeremiah 29:13.)

When you read our main scripture out of Genesis 32:22-30 you will see that on verse 24 Jacob stayed alone and that’s where he started wrestling. As you’re spending the next two weeks to seek God, my encouragement to you is start by separating yourself to meet with God.

You can do it physically if it’s possible, but if not find and set a time where you can be alone with no distractions, no phone, no music, no mental toll, nothing but you and God and consacrâtes yourself and these next 14 days and I pray that in that you will really meet God. And your name will be changed as Jacobs was and he was indeed blessed.
