Day 2 Sanctify yourself...

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.When there is sin-especially willful sin-in your life, and you are not obeying the Word, God will not hear you. You will not receive His favor. Isaiah 59:1 tells us, "Your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear,"

Peter says… For you are a slave to whatever controls you. It is important to rid ourselves of any kind of sin that control us, the weight and the sin that so easily ensnares us. There are these sins that are so easy that we do not realize that they cause a separation with God. The Bible says Samson was not careful on how he handled Delilah and ended up telling her the secret of his strength and thought to himself that he will do as he’s always done, but unfortunately this time God had departed from him and his strength left him. Are there things in your life that you think you can do and get away with has you’ve done before ? I pray that God will give you the strength to rid yourself of every single one of them so that you can be able to see God. Joshua tells us “Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.” if we’re expecting God to do wonders and declare a blessing in our lives, we need to be sanctified and walk in sanctification and right standing with God.

As You continue to pray I would love for you to meditate on the story of Samson in Judges 16 as well as few other verses that can help you pray.
